These applications will be very useful for your travels abroad.

• CITYMAPS2GO

Are you tired of getting lost abroad, not understanding when a stranger points you in your direction? This application is for you!

This application will allow you to download all the maps of all countries of the world and then use them without necessarily having an internet connection! You will also be able to save on the maps of all the places you want to see. This application is sold for 12€99 in the pro version but you can already download a certain number of maps with the free version. If you are looking for free applications I recommend Here WeGo or maps.me.

• CITYMAPPER

This application is in my opinion indispensable! It will allow you to locate train stations, bus stops and any other public transportation near your location. With this application, you will have access to the real-time schedule of the public transportation you want to take. You can also have access to transportation maps without connection. This application is completely FREE, I highly recommend it!   

• WHATSAPP 

This application will allow you to communicate with your family even when you are abroad. To do so, you won't need to use your phone package. You will only need an internet connection. Whatsapp also offers you the possibility to make video calls so you can see your family. 

To be able to communicate with Whatsapp you must keep your phone number because you will be asked for it when you create your account. It is also necessary that your receiver uses the application to communicate with you. 

• FIZZER

My favorite app when I'm abroad! A little postcard to send to your family and friends, it's always a pleasure. But you still have to find a nice card, buy a stamp, post it... With fizzer, everything becomes easier. You will be able to create your own postcard with your own pictures! You don't need to buy a stamp and post your card: fizzer does it for you!
